Metamorphosis with "Eternally Young"™ Laser Treatments
Needless to say, having an area under your skin heated to 50°C to 65°C is painful, and we usually administer oral and/or intramuscular pain medications. For the great majority of people this is enough. The treatment (for a full face) usually lasts around four to five hours. After the actual treatment, there is no pain, just a general feeling of tightness. We recommend to the patient a collection of creams and sprays, to help accelerate the healing process. It is important not to pick at the healing area during the acute healing period.
Aftercare: If you are having a full face treated for example, the first five or six days after treatment you look pretty dreadful as your face reacts to the laser stimulation. There is a metamorphosis taking place, and this reaction stage is unavoidable. For the first week, you need to stay at home and relax. After seven to ten days you can apply makeup to cover the redness which can last another few weeks. It is not possible to predict how long the redness will stay as this depends on how quickly the skin heals. Individuals vary, but the hands and areas around the eyes usually take a bit longer to heal. This can take months in some cases. (Print out the

Patience please
The hardest part, of course, is being patient until you start looking better, and redness is a good sign as the longer you look red, the more profound the healing and final outcome. If you cannot bear the thought of looking like this for a couple of weeks, we recommend you do not have this procedure done. It is not pleasant, but it is worth it.
